App Store data for any app, as an API
Details, reviews, top charts, listing changes and keyword rankings for any App Store app in about 175 storefronts, as clean JSON. Everything the iTunes Search API leaves out, without maintaining a scraper.
Built for products, not one-off exports
Daily charts, ratings and listing history are already collected, so a new dashboard or alert has data from day one.
Competitor alerts
Know the day a competitor changes its subtitle, screenshots or price, or climbs a chart.
Review analytics
Reviews by version and rating, plus review insights with the top issues and their trends.
Chart dashboards
Every genre and storefront, any past date, with rank changes and drop-outs.
AI agents
The same endpoints as MCP tools, so your agent can answer App Store questions with live data.
The endpoints you will use first
Pass a numeric id (id284882215), a bundle id, an App Store URL or an app name wherever an {app} is expected.

| AppGoat | Typical app intelligence platforms | |
|---|---|---|
| Getting a key | Self-serve, a minute after sign-up | Often a higher-tier plan or a sales call |
| Pricing | 1 credit per request, 250 free every month | Annual subscriptions, API often extra |
| Stores | App Store and the other store, same endpoints | Both stores |
| AI agents | MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor | Dashboards first |
| Market estimates | Rough, from chart ranks | Download and revenue estimates are a core product |

Partly. The iTunes Search and Lookup APIs return basic metadata for any app, and the App Store Connect API covers your own apps. Neither gives you other apps’ reviews at scale, chart history, listing changes or keyword rankings; AppGoat does.
Top charts are captured daily, app records are refreshed when they are older than 7 days (or on demand with max_age), and every response says when the data was fetched. Apps we have never seen are fetched from the store on the first request.
Most requests cost 1 credit. The free plan includes 250 credits a month with no credit card; paid plans add credits, higher rate limits, multi-country requests and credit packs.
Any: it is a REST API with JSON responses. The examples on this page are curl, JavaScript and Python, and the same data is available to AI agents through the AppGoat MCP server.
